How do we grow in our relationship with God? How do we move forward in our faith and make sure we aren’t staying the same? Rhythms can help us with our daily habits and disciplines, and eventually we see growth over time. Come on a journey with us as we explore these rhythms and how we can grow together.

Humble King

Why did the God of the heavens and the earth decide it would be best to present Himself to humanity as humble? Humble King will focus us in reflection on the God who comes to us in weakness at Christmas.

Philippians 2:8

And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
        even death on a cross!

At the end of the day, God is less concerned with what we do for Him than who we are in Him. Few figures illustrate that truth better than Jonah. Focused on the prophet rather than his prophecy, the story of Jonah gives us a picture of a man on the run due to his own selfish desires. Instead of showing mercy to his enemies, he determined to keep God's grace to himself rather than share it with those he considered undeserving.

Far more than a thrilling Sunday school adventure, Jonah, offers a profound glimpse into the conflict that occurs when God calls resistant believers to His mission. More importantly, it underscores the depths of His compassion not only in redeeming the lost, but redeeming those He has called to participate in His reconciling work.

So climb aboard and settle in as we discover how God uses extraordinary circumstances to break our hearts of selfishness, convince us of His tender care, and unite our lives to His glory.

What would it look like to commit ourselves to living "on target"? What if God's truth and direction impacted every area of our lives, from family to time and money, to relationships? During this 6 week series, we will be looking at various areas of our lives and asking this simple question, "what would it look like to live on target?"

What would happen if we stopped pursuing the empty promises from the world and became deeply rooted in things of God? Taking a deeper look at Jesus's parable of the sower, we will discovered that the authentic work of faith happens as we become rooted in good soil. Based of the book "Rooted in Good Soil" by Tri Robinson.

Who Needs The Church

Who needs the church anyway? Can't we be good moral people without the church? Couldn't we read our bibles, pray on our own and listen to a sermon podcast on the go? Sometimes we question the church's relevancy in our lives today. Throughout this series, we will make the case that actually- WE need the church.
